Sunlight spills through my paned windows,
Sparkling on my bed, strewn with sheets.
The lamps flicker like fluorescent candlelight,
Glimmering in a dimly-shone space.
The fluff of the blanket tickles my skin,
Like the fur of a bunny, white as freshly fallen snow.
Blossoms of tulips rest in a fragile glass vase,
Its sweet scent enriches the air with candied delicacy.
The novel unfolds tales within my hands
The smell of books wafting through.
The luscious taste of honeybush tea cascades down my throat,
Letting its warmth spread through my body.
The luscious taste of honeybush tea cascades down my throat,
Letting its warmth spread through my body.
