Kerala Education Minister V Sivankutty announced on Saturday that the SSLC and HSC exams in the state will begin on March 9 and March 10, 2023 as scheduled. The Minister made the announcement in state capital Thiruvananthapuram after reviewing the preparations for the exams with the officials concerned. The state government has made all necessary arrangements to ensure that the exams are conducted smoothly and without any disruptions, officials later clarified.

SSLC examinations will be conducted in the state from March 9 to March 29, while higher secondary exams will be held from March 10 to March 30. Vocational higher secondary examinations, too, will be conducted between March 10 and March 30. All three exams are set to start from 9.30 am on the scheduled dates.

The number of examination centres for SSLC exams is 2,960 and over four lakh students are set to sit for the exams. The evaluation will be held between April 3 and 24 and the results are expected in the second week of May.

The exams will be conducted in accordance with the guidelines issued by the government, and students are expected to follow all the rules and regulations during the exams. The Higher Secondary and Vocational Higher Secondary exams are critical for students who are looking to pursue higher education. Many students have already been admitted in higher education institutions or are in the process of doing so.
